Because they grow so quickly …

Capture their little fingers and toes in clay to create a special gift you will always cherish.
A cute moment for an endless memory.

Wash and dry hands thoroughly and ensure you are working on a clean and smooth surface.

Remove the clay from the sealed pouches and peal back any plastic covering. If the clay is cold, please place the pouch in hot water for 1 min to make it soft before opening.

Knead the clay well for 3 - 5 minutes. This is very important. It ensures all the oils are evenly mixed and will prevent cracking. Your clay will crack if you don’t knead it.

Lay your mold onto the wax paper. Place the clay into the mold and press it gently with fingers. You can use a smooth, round object (rolling pin, mug, candle…) to roll it back and forth until you have the required thickness. Ensure it is flat and pressed evenly all around.

Apply a small amount of skin cream or oil to baby’s hands and feet. This will prevent skin from drying out. Press baby’s hand and feet gently but firmly into the clay.

Once done, you can customize your memento with baby names, dates, initials… by using the  small number and letter stamps provided. If you are not happy with the result, take the clay from the frame and repeat steps 3, 4 and 5.

Wash hands and feet after use.

Take the mold off carefully, then smooth edges down with fingers. If you would like to attach a ribbon, make a hole in the ornament 1cm down from the edge, with the end of the straw.

Leave the clay to dry for at least 48 hours in a cool, dry area. Do not heat or bake the clay as this will cause it to crack. Ensure it is fully dry and hard to the touch before your decorate.

You can add ribbon of your choice to make hanging ornament or display it on easels.
